In Motown, the hits just keep on coming

Happy Friday, fellow bettors. We hope you had a patriotic holiday week filled with fireworks, family, and favorable beats. With the weekend quickly approaching, we can't think of a better way to kick it off than to target some plus money Same Game Parlays in MLB. Let's get to it!

Detroit is Hitsville, USA

Friday's matchup between the Toronto Blue Jays and Detroit Tigers has all the makings of an offensive explosion. Alek Manoah will be making his first start since giving up seven hits and six earned runs against the Houston Astros before he could even get two outs in early June. On the other side, Alex Faedo also allowed seven hits and six earned runs in his last start, and the Detroit Tigers bullpen has given up the fourth-most hits in MLB this year.

We'll start with Whit Merrifield, who's hitting .287 against righties this season. We trust him to poke a single at some point more than any other player on the Blue Jays.

As for the Tigers, let's roll with Matt Vierling and Spencer Torkelson. Vierling is the hottest hitter on the team with his .341 batting average over the last 15 days, and Torkelson has recorded at least one hit in seven of his last eight starts.

Whit Merrifield, Matt Vierling and Spencer Torkelson 1+ hit each (+165 DK)

Bombs away in the Big Apple

We could be in for a home run barrage at Yankee Stadium Friday, as Ballpark Pal projects a 23 percent boost to homers during the game due to the strong wind blowing out to left field. As for the pitching matchup, Chicago Cubs starter Jameson Taillon has surrendered eight home runs in his last five starts. Carlos Rodon will be making his season debut for the New York Yankees, so we're expecting some rust to start.

Let's first look to Anthony Rizzo, who has 10 hits and two home runs against Taillon in 22 career at-bats. Ten of Rizzo's 11 homers this season have also come against right-handed pitchers.

For a longer shot, let's roll with Patrick Wisdom. The powerful third baseman is second on the Cubs with 14 home runs this year, and he leads the team with five homers off lefties. Put those two together, and you've got a juicy SGP to kick off the weekend.

Anthony Rizzo & Patrick Wisdom to hit a home run (+2000 DK)
