The career of Miguel Cabrera has been full of great moments.

The Detroit Tigers legend is a 12-time All-Star, a four-time Batting Champion, a seven-time Silver Slugger, a two-time MVP, and a Triple Crown winner.

Over the weekend, the future Hall-of-Famer announced that the 2023 season would be his last in Major League Baseball.

Cabrera came up with the Florida Marlins in 2003 and became a star instantly.

He was traded to the Tigers prior to the 2008 season and helped guide them to four straight American League Central division titles from 2011-14.

Baseball Reference tweeted some of Cabrera’s career stats and listed where he ranked in certain categories.

Needless to say, Cabrera ranks high in several elite categories.

Cabrera has put together a Hall-of-Fame worthy career.

The 39-year-old picked up his 3,000th career hit in 2022 and forever etched his name in the history books.

The slugger is not only a legend in the City of Detroit, but all over Major League Baseball.

Fans everywhere appreciate what he has been able to accomplish in his 20 years in the big leagues.

And with 2023 being his final season, he’ll have a chance to not only climb the record books, but also have his own farewell tour as fans everywhere get one last chance to see one of the greatest players to ever play the game.

Cabrera has hit for a lifetime average of .308 and has a grand total of 507 home runs.

He also has posted a career WAR of 67.7.

The Tigers slugger has seen a little bit of everything during such an illustrious career and will have one final season to chase some records.
